For my Design & Engineering class, we created and built hand-washing stations. We had first looked at statistics of how illness is widespread where clean water is not available. With our water stations we hoped to combat global water concerns. We followed the engineering process to create simple designs. What struck me most about the process was how many times we had to make adjustments– even when we had completed the water station, there were still changes we wanted to make.
