Dear GCE Students, Families, Partners, and Friends:
I hope that the words “thank you” do not lose their meaning because we will use them often and they come from the heart. Last night we felt overwhelming support from you and belief in GCE.
Many of you endured the humidity to join us for our Welcome Reception. Those of you unable to attend, you were missed. In addition to the great food provided by Amazing Edibles, a few highlights from our evening included:
- honoring the 2010-2011 GCE students
- thanking returning families
- introducing our advisory board
- meeting and conversing with GCE’s exceptional staff
- learning about the GCE scholarship fund and opportunities for engagement
In an effort to keep this follow-up email brief, I would like to re-invite you to engage by emailing, calling, or visiting GCE at any time. Our doors are open to you and we will discover the appropriate ways to channel your passion and expertise.
Lastly, I would like to remind you that, collectively, we are the keepers of the vision, and we are the builders of the Global Citizenship Experience.
