I learned that an effective nonviolent action needs satyagraha, because in order to prove a point, one must initiate and perform actions that may cause pain to themselves and use this as a weapon.
Satyagraha to me means an action such as fasting, that might put yourself in harm’s way to accomplish a major goal.
In my nonviolent intervention in support of Bahrain, satyagraha means to protest nonviolently at a major landmark under the threat of government action.
Dear unknown friend, you may help me promote this satyagraha in Bahrain by demanding your rights at major landmarks, no matter what the government might do to hurt you.
