The purpose of this piece was to pick a Global Rhythm that you never heard or that you wanted to learn the most. So, I picked this Mongolian throat singing, because I never heard someone singing from the throat. I am also interested in Mongolian cultures and their traditions. I learned three new adjectives, which are: harmonious, radiant and aerial. To me harmonious is: gathering people together; radiant: bright voice; and aerial: lifting your voice to the sky. To you these words might mean something else. I learned that Mongolian throat singing is very difficult and their traditional instrument Morin Khur has 2-3 strings.
