Birth rate changing in Pakistan

October 31, 2011 at 3:04 pm, by

For my population course, we created posters to understand birth rates from the equation N=No e^(kt) {N= Projection population,  No=Starting population, kt=Birth rate}.  Each student was assigned a country in a different continent. The country that I chose was Pakistan. You can look at my poster below:

The purpose of this piece was to find the birth rate of a country. I focused on the birth rate because it effects the population growth. In our population class, we are looking at the equation Na= Ns (e)^kt. Na is defined as the projection of population, Ns is defined as the starting population and Read More…

Brazil Poster

In our population class, we created posters to understand birth rates form this equation (N=No E^Kt) [ N is define as population after, No is define as  starting population, Kt is define as birth rate] .  I picked Brazil to study birth rates. Then, I did some research about Brazil. We had our peers edit our Read More…

Purpose:  In my population class, we are finding birth rates in different countries. I examined polar bear birth rates in Antarctica. For example, in my class we looked at an equation Na=NsE^(kt). [Na is defined as the population after.  Ns is defined as the starting population. kt is defined as the birth rate.] So we try to base our research on that Read More…

Birth Rates in the USA

October 31, 2011 at 2:51 pm, by

I created this science poster in my population class, it is our third milestone. I did my poster to identify the birth rates in the USA. We used the equation N=NsE^(kt). N is defined as the projection of populations, Ns is the starting population, and Kt is the birth rate.  From my research, you can […]
