The purpose of this project was to build a structure that builds peace among everyone. It had to be a construction that builds peace and it had to be a memorable place to 9/11.

I chose to build a small land for everyone called the HAPPY LAND! I chose this specific idea because it is going to be a land filled with games for everyone, like Six Flags, but a little different, because it can be free for everyone. This is a great way to make every kid happy and it shows a good future. Kids are going to grow up with this happy land making happy memories that will stay with them forever.

MY's "Ground Zero" Drawing

You know you arrived at this building, because you will see a lot of people (kids) playing with different games and you will also recognize the biggest Ferris wheel that will be in New York.

You will feel happy and safe by “touching happiness”, by playing in all the rides (Ferris wheel, slides, swings, roller coaster, etc), with kids all around.
You will taste cotton candy (if you are not from the U.S, it is a special candy that is made out of sugar and it is pink sometimes)
You will be seeing kids running around with a smile on their faces and see the names of the  3,000 people who died in 9/11 on every game you get on. For example, if you are in a Ferris wheel you will be sitting in a carriage that is filled with names of the people who died in 9/11.
You will be smelling different things; in some areas, you will be smelling pizza, in other areas you will be smelling the fresh air.
You will listen to all these kids talking, laughing, shouting from a specific game that they are enjoying and singing.

To walk through this, you need to engage with people and show respect. Playing different games is what will keep people together. A lot of games will engage a group to play together and through these types of games kids will get to know each other.

Once you reach the center of this building you may see all types of awesome games that you might have never seen; or even, if you have seen these games, this time you will get to play them for FREE NOW!!
The games that will be available are not going to be about winning or losing. Every game will be there to enjoy it, not getting any prizes or anything, because you will be coming to THE HAPPY LAND to have fun and to meet new people.

When you leave this building, you are transformed, because the games connect kids together. Think about Disneyland: people come from all over the world just to see Disneyland. You see a lot of kids playing and enjoying it.
We need to make their future happy. They will grow up with the happy land in the place of the Twin Towers; they will be studying it in history and they will remember it the way we have a Memorial day. Kids will grow up with new life, without continuing with the conflict that have caused war in a lot of countries because of these two buildings. More than 18,000 people are still suffering from the 9/11 attack don’t you think they diverse to be happy happy??

These games are for kids that can forget about the bad things and live a happy life. Kids are going to grow up not having conflict with other countries because they don’t have anything against them. They can play and have fun, at the same time remembering the people who died in this special place, including kids like them who didn’t get the chance to see this.

The quotes from the bible and Quran are:
Quran: “Anyone male or female, who what is good and is faithful will enter the garden and will not be oppressed at all.”
Bible: “But the water I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into over lasting life”

These two connects because they both show a happy future like in Qur’an it is saying after all the good things you will do you will go to heaven, and in bible it is using a metaphor by saying I will give you a water that you will never get thirsty after you drink it and you will live a life with no end, which is what heaven is. In my building, these are related because in the HAPPY LAND you play you enjoy the place you will live a happy life after this with happy memories of this place.
