Problem: In 2012, much of the worlds fresh water is becoming more limited. Water pollution has been increasing around the worlds due to industrial waste. 97% of the water on this planet is the ocean and 3% of it is freshwater. Within that 3%, 70% is frozen 29% is underground and 1% of it comes from lakes and rivers, If climate change melted all the frozen water what percentage of fresh water is left over?

Solution: 2.1% of frozen water would be melted after climate change. .9% of fresh water remains after the frozen water has melted. With .9% of fresh water remaining in the world, people would not have enough water to survive. Which also could lead to many issues such as a major lack of food and a series of chaotic events over the last percentage of fresh water in the world.

Question: Within that 3%, 70% is frozen 29% is underground and 1% of
it comes from lakes and rivers, If climate change melted all the frozen water what percentage of fresh water is left over?
