Problem: SIXTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME FOR RESEARCH (FP6) wants to allocate money for current global enviroment issues. According to the chart above, two of the biggest issues today are greenhouse gases (21.4%) and the water cycle (19.9%). What is the total percent of enviromental issues that add to the atmospheric impact?
Solution: If we find other ways to fix climate change and atmospheric concerns, 43.1% of the money could be used for other problems in the world today. For example we could put more money towards biodiversity, which is the variety of life (plants, animals, and microorganisms) in danger.
