In the first week of school, students examined the periodic table. Our guiding question challenged students to apply how the periodic table is used for our global health course (“cure”). Students are now constructing 3-D models of various pharmaceutical molecules. This course is also aligned with the United Nations millennium development goal of combating diseases.
