The purpose of the student enterprise course is to help students develop their own enterprise and to understand business/entrepreneurship fundamentals. Students will learn how to create and initiate a business model. The goal for this course is to equip students for opportunities in entrepreneurship for their career paths. The business model may include nonprofit, for-profit, or hybrid plans.
This week, we had founder of Amazing Edibles, Andrea Herrera visit our class. She provided students practical lessons on starting a business. The students had an informative Q/A session with Andrea discussing start-up ideas. Each individual student has aligned their business with one of the United Nations millennium development goals.
