For our global health cure class, we are examining organs to better understand treatments. We dissected frogs to get a better look at what organs look like. The inside of frog are very similar to humans. While we were dissecting the frogs, we learned about all the organs. We also cut out the brain and drew a picture of what it looked like.
We look at organs because we want to create treatments for those organs such as the heart. An example of a heart treatment is the ACE medicine( Mayo Clinic Staff 2011) .
