For Student Enterprise, we went to Sandbox Industries and met with Nick Rosa and his staff to get some perspective on entrepreneurial skills, starting businesses, and working as a team. We each presented our business plans to the Sandbox team and got constructive feedback.
One thing I learned from Sandbox is that it’s easy to underestimate how many speed bumps you run into when starting a business!
After pitching our business, we were told by the Sandbox team that we need to expand our marketing and financial plans. As for our presentation, we need to work on being more concise about our organization’s mission and vision, and work on moving through the different talking points more smoothly.
