Walter Payton’s ethos, his credibility, is in most peoples eyes very positive. His name is one of the most well known names in football not only because his astonishing ability of running with the ball but also because of his actions off the playing field. Off the field he has helped out the community of Chicago. For example the foundation Walter and Connie Foundation still continues to run a program that Payton organized to donate toys to underprivileged children across the Chicago area each Christmas.
