For our first project as action in our Art of Rhetoric class, we created resumes to practice pathos. I learned how to create a resume that’s concise, relevant and demonstrates who I am creatively and efficiently to future employers or admissions officers.

We started off by looking at many examples and created our own rubric thinking about how to best judge resumes. This was a confusing process at times but in the end it was helpful and interesting to  create quantifiable guidelines to grade the project with. It allowed us to think about how others would view our resume and give us some control in how it was graded.

Overall, this project was a little difficult because of the editing it involved, but was really useful because I now have a resume that I can use to apply for jobs and internships or even college applications.
