For our design and engineering class, we split up into groups of 2 to create home made solar panels. These solar panels ideally could be recreated and used by people (low budget project) and use to heat water for their homes/businesses. We learned about different measurements of heat and energy such as joules and kelvin. This helped me, and hopefully will be able to help others, due to the fact that these panels are low cost and create an alternative to heating water, and helping the environment.
