In my Art of Rhetoric course, I am learning about the three modes of persuasion – pathos,logos and ethos – and how to use them in an argument or paper. Each of the modes are important to incorporate while discussing anything. For our first action project I focused on ethos. I created a professional resume, which was a way for me to practice credibility. Creating a resume is important because it could make or break my chances of getting a job depending on the structure and content of my resume. To create a resume I needed to make it not only credible, but most importantly appealing to my audience.
