Last week in my math and science course, called Light and Sound I was challenged to make a spectrograph.  A spectrograph is an instrument used so you are able to see the full frequency spectrum.  My partner and I began this project by looking at and understanding spectrum’s and their different intensities so once we were looking at our spectrum we would be able to accurately interpret it.  I really enjoyed myself during this project because it was relatively straight forward to create the spectrograph and so cool to see how different light sources affected the frequency spectrum.  In the process of creating the spectrograph, I was really able to grasp the concept and feel confident in my knowledge and also in my final product.  Check out my partner and I’s slideshow below about our process:
