In my Light & Sound class, we were given the task of creating our own AM Radio from a kit.  With this project I was able to understand the principles of frequencies through the process of building the radio. My group and I  learned about how radios are used around the world for variety of things, such as: entertainment, news, weather, sports and political, social, and economical reasons.  This project was fun to do and was a great way to get a hands-on experience that related exactly to what we were talking about in class however it was somewhat frustrating in the end because we weren’t able to get our radio to work, due to a faulty kit.  Check out my SlideRocket below!
