The 2nd unit in the integrated English & History course, A Nation’s Argument; focused on deductive reasoning, we looked at how deduction could be applied to pre-World War I (whether Germany is right or wrong to colonize). A trial was held in class to change “your” nations appeal, with representatives of various European and African nations arguing for their causes. The country I represented was German East Africa, that includes Burundi,Rwanda, and Tanzania. To learn and increase my knowledge for this project I had to understand the cause of WWI, through an amazing book by Henri Barbusse; The Under fire. I recommend you to read it to understand what is like to be in a war. Below is my visual presentation
