This paper will be about finding the pros and cons of using wood as an energy source and its relationship with carbon footprint. you can find this pollutant in the air.
Softwood is from conifers, which are evergreens. Hardwood is from dicotyledons, which are broad-leaved trees. Wood is 30% lignin. The chemical composition of lignin is below:
You will find wood in the woods. This is the chemical equation for the combustion of wood. Wood reacts with oxygen to create carbon dioxide and water:

On both sides of the equation.
A carbon footprint is the total sets of greenhouse gas. I used a carbon foot calculate to calculate my carbon footprint. there were categories and my results. I looked at different things in life like, my home energy, waste, and recycling. The average carbon footprint for a family of five was 114,867.
One great thing about it is that it is recyclable. One advantage is that it’s renewable. Trees can be planted and grown to replace those that are cut. One disadvantage is that it provides less heat energy per unit than materials like coal.
In conclusion I think that wood is a great energy resource to use and have.
It’s reuseable and you can replant them. Wood is very easy to burn and its all around you.
