For my Street math course we were asked to contextualize and apply a math concept to urban planning. We than had to relate it to the sub category which is atmosphere. I decided to talk about the cylinder volume theorem. I looked at Chicago’s Marina City buildings to show how cylinder volume theorem works in real life. I found the volume of the buildings than explained how urban planning companies want to turn the buildings into a more sustainable environment. Helping the atmosphere of the city become more sustainable and green.
