In my Global Water class, I created a weather report on McMurdo Antarctica. I did this weather report so I can inform people not only about the weather but how it is going to affect their day. I also inform people about the ice level and if it will melt or grow larger. This helps me be a global citezen because I am trying to help others and in that process I am learning about other places.

For my 4th milestone in my global health cure class, we were assigned to create a vdeo that explains why we need to combat global diseases and what the UN needs to do. We did this because we feel global diseases are one of the biggest killers. I chose to create a rap video because I enjoy making raps and I feel it’s the best way to express my care to the audience.

For our global healthcure class, we created a news cast covering the United Nations and how they do to prevent diseases. We did this so we can show people how much we need to prevent and help others with diseases. Our news anchor HD, was talking about what diseases we need to combat. I was talking about how mathematics help combat disease. To close it off, JH was talking about how we can combat them.

For my global health cure class, my group made a talk show explaining why and how the United Nations could combat global diseases. Also,we looked at how the United Nations could use math to solve global diseases.
Below is my video and script of the talk show:
Scene: Talk show: GCE talk
JP,RJ, and ZP are sitting in chairs. That are in a circle.
ZP: Hi I’m ZP
RJ: Hi I’m RJ
JP: Hi i’m Jazzy J
MY: Hi i’m MY
ZP: Hello. Welcome to GCE talk. Today we are going to talk about the United Nations and how they will combat global diseases.
ZP: Jazzy J why should the nations combat global diseases?
JP: For one it’s their responsibility to help all people. That’s why they’re called the united nations. Their united to work together and make the world a better place for all people to live. Diseases kill people and it’s not ok for the united nations to ignore the problem.
JP: So ZP since I explained why the united nations should combat global diseases , can you explain what should the united nations do to combat global diseases?
ZP:The united nations should spread awareness about diseases and teach people how to avoid them. They should help discover cures by funding researchers, and supply medicine to people who don’t have access to it.
RJ: You know what I totally agree with you ZP. Now it’s time to get the audience involved. Who would like to ask a question?
Scene: RJ points to MY : Would you like to ask the question?
MY: How does mathematics help the united nations to solve diseases?
RJ: Good question. Well I think is that math is important because it helps doctors know the number of people who need medicine. Also, mathematics can create a budget and spend appropriately. Math is also helpful when giving out prescriptions.
JP: That’s all we have for today folks. Thanks for watching GCE talk. See you next time.
Scene: Music plays and we zoom out. Everyone waves goodbye.

In our drama class our fourth milestone was to create and define our body politic. To create a body politic you had to pick a community and answer the question: What does caring for the community as a whole mean for you or what does being political mean for you. We also had to convey a wish for our community. I chose the community of believers. I chose this community because I think it is made out of people with many differences but one common thing. Also because it is a global community. To me caring for the whole is being invested in everyone’s beliefs I do this by believing in myself and in the creativity of others. One Important creative decision I made for this was having a constant voice. This was hard to do because I still had to keep diversity by having many other voices at the same time. Almost like having a facilitator in a conversation. I did this because I thought it would be a good way to insert myself into the community, make a wish for the community and also bring some closure in a open way.
“ You have to believe it to achieve it.”
“ Our strength comes from the heart.”
“ The worlds orbit demands, requires, needs public participation.”
“Brazil’s “ Samba Boys” don’t just win, they win in style, capturing the imagination of a population often struggling with poverty and inequality.”
“ But I simply can’t build my hopes on a foundation of confusion, misery and death… I think… peace and tranquility will return again.”
“You said you couldn’t believe in someone who didn’t believe in you. I always believed in you. I just didn’t believe in me.”
“ I love darkness. It is my cloak, it is my shield. It is my cape. I love the dark, maybe we can make it darker, give me a marker.”
“ I soothe my conscience with the thought that it is better for hard words to be on paper than to carry them in your heart.”
“ I don’t think of all misery but of the beauty that still remains.”
“Memories of our lives, of our works and our deeds will continue to live in others.”
“ This is what we’ve been waiting for. We really want to go out and show what we can do.”
“ It was just a scribble on a piece of paper but it expanded and expanded into this exciting project.”
“ I must uphold my ideals, for perhaps the time will come when I shall be able to carry them out.”

Body politic means:people who are subjected to or owe allegiance to a single organized political governmental authority, such as a state or country.
In Sudan and South Sudan the was a problem about Islam and Christianity. The differences of religious beliefs between the two countries cause the conflict. They have been fighting for 22 years . They made an agreement for peace but it lasted only for a short time.
The president of Sudan, Bashir, is unable to maintain the economic and prosperity promise to the general population. The government and power will be questioned. because the oil was shut down by the South Sudan,so there is no enough money for his people.
Sudan and South went back to war because of oil, they didn’t understand each other and they both think there are rights at the same time. Bashir people are not happy with their president because Bashir just only make decision for himself but not considering his people and that doesn’t help them.

For the fourth and final milestone in Cure (math & science), we created a video. I made this video with MML and HD. We talked about what the UN can do to help the world cure diseases. We did this by making a news report including a special segment call MathCenter! Feel free to watch the video below.
