WOOD CYCLE

By CD • Uncategorized • 17 Jan 2013

For our Fuel class we had to make a visual cycle of the regeneration of a resource. I picked to do the cycle of wood. We had to find 2 chemical reactions of the resource. The purpose of this project was to find out how a resource is made and then recycled. I am proud of the way my Prezi turned out.

Here are my chemical reactions.

This is the process:

1.Growing forest absorb carbon and release oxygen

2.Cars and factories emit carbon that goes to the atmosphere

3.Old forest slowly releases stored carbon as they decay

4.Trees create wood products

  • we recycle the wood products
  • bio energy is produced from mills and forest residues.
